Best Coffee Ever
Fit and finish on the pot are superb. The construction is solid and the welds tight. I have been researching these Napoletana pots for a while but wanted something over the standard aluminum. The stainless steel version fits the bill. Couple of things, I did a return on the first order because I thought a small linear dent/dimple on the rim of the filter assembly was a defect. This is a factory safety feature because of the closed construction while boiling the water. It belongs there. Secondly, you don’t have to run “several” pots to season the stainless. I kept refilling with the contents of first pot in the sink and that did the trick. You want those bean oils to seal the stainless surface. Don’t clean with soap or detergents, just dump the grounds, rinse and gently wipe with a paper or cloth towel to avoid stripping those oils. In my research, I found that the Italian 9 cup pot is equal to 1 1/2 cups in the US. This was perfect for me. The consensus for a perfect pot appears to be 18 grams (1/8 cup of ground in the US) of medium/medium fine ground coffee per 200 ml of water (Just under a cup of water in the US). So, for this Italian 9 cup pot it is 1/4 cup (US) of ground coffee for a full pot (1 1/2 cups of water/US). My calculations were correct and this was perfect. Terrific seller and fast shipping. Very happy.

Line up the insert indent with the steam hole
That's the technique to using this great little coffee maker. The inside coffee holder insert has an indent, and that indent needs to be lined up with the steam hole when you assemble the coffee maker. When the indent and hole are aligned, it won't spurt hot water on your stove when you flip it over. This little coffee maker is really easy to use, and unlike James Hoffmann, I get a great cup every time with it. Ground coffee goes in the holder, water goes in the boiler part, put it together, put it on the stove and wait for it to just steam, flip it over and put it aside, wait for the coffee to drip down inside. No problem. Delicious.

Good, old-fashioned Neapolitan coffee maker
I love it. It is well designed, sturdy, and attractive. It will last for years. I grew up with one of these. I was not sure about the size description; "3 cups." It makes just about 4 oz of espresso. I was concerned about the metal handles as opposed to something insulated. These are long, and the pot needs to sit on the edge of a gas flame to be concentrated in the center. The handles are not a problem when it comes time to flip it over. It makes great coffee, the way I like it. I tend to pack down the grounds before putting the cap on. My only recommendation is that the description should list ounces or ml as opposed to "cups". Whose cup? Demitasse? Espresso? American coffee/tea?

Good Find for my Coffee Brewing Arsenal.
I bought it at about half price from Amazon Warehouse. It was dinged and one of the parts had to be sanded down to fit properly, but now it works fine and I'm pleased. Elevates the taste of ordinary supermarket coffee. The brew is similar to that of a moka pot but the apparatus is easier to clean thoroughly.

Good Quality...
Very nice pot and makes good coffee. The handles stay cool, and it is a perfect size for single service of 1-2 people in our household. Easy to use. It's a keeper for sure!

Fantastic coffee maker - my favorite!
Some of the best coffee ever. Very smooth. The trick - let the water cool 20 to 25 seconds before flipping over.

Makes great coffee, only lasted 3 1/2 years
Update: I make about 10 pots a week. After 3 ½ years, water started pouring continuously out of the hole opposite the handles, putting out the gas flame and filling up the tray under the burner. After another 6 months of pushing the insert in further and further to try to keep it from leaking, it's become extremely difficult to disassemble. I'm guessing the rim of the bottom pot has stretched out and no longer seals. For the premium price and being made of stainless steel, I hoped it would last longer. Original review (5 stars): Pros: I get two 16-oz mugs of very strong American-style coffee out of a full pot by using 4 TB of espresso-grind French roast and diluting the resulting brew with extra hot water. It holds about 6 1/2 to 7 TB of espresso grind so you could make it stronger or make more coffee. It works with any roast or grind depending on the flavor you want. You can cut disks from basket filters to keep the sediment out of your cup. Cons: Hot water spurts out when you flip it so if you have a glass-top stove and hard water, you end up with dried minerals that don't come off without glass-top cleaner.

Delicious Coffee
The coffee is delicious. It took a few times to tweak the process to get the process and the coffee perfect. It's important to read the instructions, unless you have experience with this type of pot. -Make sure the water is below the tiny hole (as mentioned in the instructions) -Do not pack the coffee in the basket, because the water will not filter down properly. Fill it, but fluff the grounds (I actually use the end of a corn on the cob skewer). -After the water boils (about 4 min.), take the pot off the stove and flip it in the sink, in case any water squirts out from the tiny hole. -The full dripping process takes about 5 minutes. I keep the pot on a warm burner during the dripping process.
