Baby’s Day Out, directed by Patrick Read Johnson, is an American comedy film centered on the kipping of a baby from a wealthy family. The movie stars twins Adam and Jacob Worton, who play the baby in the film, and also Joe Mantegna, Joe Pantoliano, and Brian Haley as the hopeless kippers. This movie was made with a huge budget of 48 million dollars and it was hugely popular in the overseas markets, especially South-East Asia, and India and Pakistan in particular. This Patrick Read Johnson movie begins with the very adorable baby, Bink, getting ready to pose for the newspapers. He is the only child of a very wealthy couple and his photo is to appear in the local newspaper’s social page. Unknown to the family, the three men who have come to take the picture are not from the newspaper, but are actually criminals. Wanting to make a quick buck, they decide to kip baby Bink. One of the kippers tries to make Bink and reads him his favourite book, called Baby’s Day Out. The kipper gets more engrossed in reading the book rather than looking after little Bink, and the little baby follows a bird out of the window. The kippers chase little Bink but he gets away from them one way or the other. The FBI have arrived at the house and look for clues to see where the kippers might have taken Bink. Bink’s parents are also very anxious, and his mother is inconsolable. Many people call in to report having seen Bink as he goes from the bus to a departmental store, and to many other places. The kippers, while running helter skelter chasing Bink, are also quite embarrassed because they haven’t managed to catch a toddler. Baby Bink is absolutely adorable as he goes from one place to another, somehow keeping the kippers at bay. Baby’s Day Out was released in 2010 by 20th Century Fox. It is an English movie with English, Dutch, and French subtitles. It is in DVD format on one disc, with a U rating and a run time of 94 minutes.
