For thicker hair, use the higher heat settings. Ensure hair is dry and combed through. Section the hair evenly and comb through before styling. Before styling make sure the universal heat glove is worn on the hand which is wrapping the hair around the barrel. Take a section of hair starting around 2 inches from the scalp. Wind the entire section around the barrel. Hold the end of the hair in place at the cool tip or hold slightly away from the barrel for 5-8 seconds depending on hair type. Let go of the hair section and pull tong away. To “set” the curl, do not comb or brush hair until it cools. Repeat as necessary.
