Works incredibly well with the cord. I use it when a strap is overkill. The weave makes the cord very strong for its gauge. Very versatile. I use it on anything I put in the bed of my truck that doesn’t require a strap. I have also used it to tie down tarps. You get a lot for the money. It has a very strong, metal construction.

It is a great and easy to use little tool to keep loads tight with little effort. I would give it 5 stars had they provided rope for all 6 locks, for that price they should have all been pre loaded with rope. Maybe a little heavy for the sise as well for backpacking but they are sturdy with flawless function

Great product. I’m using this to replace plastic tensioning devices that have failed under high load conditions. I use these tensioning devices to secure my overland awnings. The plastic versions have failed multiple times in gusty winds. These metal ones are more secure.

These are pretty handy tensioning devices. I used one with 550 paracord to put up a barrier to keep a stack of spare lumber from falling off of where it's stored.
