Hi, made a quick search for the model and well, I'm no expert on HP laptops but it seemed to me that yes, it pretty much looks like my 15-ax so it seems it would work. I suggest to confirm with HP or a specialist anyway. One thing that may help is opening the laptop and getting the part number and comparing with the ones offered here before buying.
