These things are a life saver, and much, much better than wax. They do stick well to the bracket surface, or even wires, and last through eating and sleeping. Wax just doesn't stick well, and I never got the hang of it. These dots are also clear, so that you can see your lovely brace colors through them. I don't like yellowish wax, as it just looks like I have nasty food stuck on my teeth. These worked well, and I'm thankful.

Where have these been?! I have crowded teeth with braces. One tooth sticks out farther than others and it constantly rubs on my inner gums and irritates them. I always have to have wax on them. But I was so annoyed with drying off the bracket, then trying to get the wax to fix. Then comes along orthodots. SUPER easy to apply, they stick great and no need to dry off bracket. They truly are clear too, not hazy like wax. Only slight negative is I wish they came in smaller sizes because sometimes it’s a tad too big for 1 bracket. But still way better than wax or the silicone earplugs. My package also came with a few braces flossers in a nice travel case. Will definitely put those to use too!!

I am on the braces journey, so these are life savers. I switch between wax and these. They stick a little better and stay in place. They're in small squares so sometimes I split one in half to cover two brackets as they are a little thick. All in all they work well and save my cheeks from the pokey parts.

If the product worked as advertised, we’d recommend it to everyone. Unfortunately, half of the dots rip before you can even use them and the other half do not stay on even after following exact usage instructions. For the price you can buy A LOT of orthodontic wax, which isn’t great, but seems to stay on better than these.

Recently got metal braces top and bottom. Having a lot of issue with hooks causing sores in my mouth. The issues are noth the same daily. So one may heal and I will not need wax then a couple days past anf then I need it again due to pain and irritation. Some days I need wax on 1 bracket or days I may have wax on 5 brackets. I ordered these thinking it would be easier because I am using a lot wax daily. The only good thing was you just peel back film and dot is all ready to be placed. However, I find the little box of wax sticks better then these dots and depending on if you need to take wax out you can easily reuse and easily put back regular wax. These dots do stick as well and can not be reshaped and reused at all should you need to take it out and put it back. The wax feels like a dense wax substance and these dots feel like jelly. I found no real difference in how they feel in my mouth. I bought a couple boxes but earlier today I ordered 6 boxes of the little boxes with the 4 sticks. I love that better. And if you are like me and using wax daily the easier and quicker it gets to get the wax out in right amout and get it shaped and placed.

This was a life savor no lie! My mouth was all cut up inside from my new braces. I tried a guard, that was horrible, didn't work. And the wax they gave me did ok but I was still getting cut. But these things were amazing. They really work. I finally got some relief and was able to eat a little since I hadn't been able to eat anything since I had got the braces put on 3 days ago. Great product. Highly recommend. Also when I used wax it got stuck in my braces, was hard to get off when I wanted to change it, and the wax didn't stick well. Some of these did tear when trying to get out the package so that was a negative. But still a great purchase. You can't stick these on like u would wax. U don't press it with one finger. You have to kinda fold it in half over the bracket, like a taco. They stayed through eating, drinking coffee, and sleeping all night. When taking them off, they come off while ...not nasty like wax getting stuck in all the pieces. And they are clear, which is another plus. I couldn't use the wax when I went to work on my front brackets bc it looked gross like I stuff stuck in my teeth. But these I can use and u can't see them

LIFESAVERS! Omg these work so much better than the wax they gave me at the dentist. It stays on and i even slept with it and the next day after brushing my teeth i reused the same one and it works amazingly!!! I definitely recommend these.

WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE! Guys, these are amazing! I’m 32, have had braces 3 times, and these bad boys are where it’s at! Let’s talk Wax, it’s not the easiest to use. It doesn’t always stick or stay, and you have to get your braces dry..it’s a pain. (However, wax is free from your orthodontist. That being said-I’d spend $25 on these again-no questions asked.) I won’t even get started on the molar braces, those are impossible to get wax to cover and stay on! After a few weeks of using wax you get use to it, become a pro, but not everyone uses wax everyday on their braces-it’s for those odd ball days something happens and you can’t get seen or your appointments next week. You forgot how to use the wax, and those first weeks you became a pro using it, well you’ve lost the magic and are back to learning how to get it to stick all over again. These dots are clear! Can’t see them once on-I personally love that because I have clear braces, keeps everything on the down low. Also, they are fast (2-3 seconds), super easy to use, and so smooth! The texture soothes the wounds you may have or poking wires/brackets causing pain. They “melt” onto the braces with the slightest push-after a few seconds you can then start to mold them-pushing from side to side, up or down-this allows you to thin them out or cover the next bracket. I love these for the molars! They are a pain to reach, dry, and get wax to mold too. With these dots it’s a walk In the park-instant relief. Only downfall I will say, they don’t stay on any better than wax-they came off with eating just as wax did. However, that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. These save me the 20minutes I take putting wax on, and then reattempting because it doesn’t stick. Worth a shot! You won’t regret that you did :)

Ik krijg de plakkers al niet heel van de verpakking af. Plakker plaatsen gaat ook niet. Plakt niet. Ik vrees dat deze overdatum zijn of zoiets. Jammer. Retourneren is te complex dus laat maar. Ik ga het ook niet opnieuw proberen. Jammer.

It really doesn't stay while eating food as stated. We could instead use normal dental wax at an affordable price that is also easy to keep on braces and remove. Dental wax can remove and reuse. This one won't stay while eating and cannot be re-used.
