I do my own tapes at home and these are really good replacements. I’ve bought multiple packs of these now and I can’t fault them. Have never noticed any slippage or them losing their stickiness after washing. They last me a solid 4-6 weeks and even then they could stay longer but I choose to refit more often for comfort. They do require a fair amount of solvent remover and can be a bit awkward to remove but that’s tapes for you. I really can’t fault these and I probably won’t ever try a different brand.

These are very easy to install but can slip after a while and are a bit gooey when taking off but still not bad. Last well (8weeks before I changed them)

I was hoping to save some £ on tapes as the cost of replacements from my salon is ridiculous. I read a LOT of reviews of different brands of tapes before deciding to try these, & unfortunately the bad reviews were correct 😔 After reading them, I very carefully tried 1 tape & it was far too thick. I then spent the next few hours very carefully attempting to remove it 😖 I cannot stress enough just how hard it sticks & how impossible it was to remove, despite my arsenal of different removers, solvents & oils. Sadly, I now know why my salon’s replacement tapes cost so much 😞

These are amazing at staying in your hair. But they are ridiculously sticky and took my hairdresser ages to get out of my hair. They also left so much residue glue in my hair.

I’m ordering these tapes again, in a bigger package. They do stay in & hold for WEEKS! Which is what we want, right? I’ve been wearing extensions for a couple years due to health issues causing my life long bleached hair to fall out. Most applications last me 12 weeks. I wash 2/3 times a week using dry shampoo most days. I lay my top piece on first, pick it up and apply the under side with the very little strands of natural hair it picks up, sandwiched in between. I then hold my flat iron on it for a few seconds then let it cool. Every 10 days or so I retap with heat to prevent slippage. There’s the occasional slippage around the 4/5 week mark, but if you take care of them and tap the tapes with heat every couple weeks, they don’t slip too bad. Wearing extensions for a couple of years, I’ve had my fair share of problematic tapes, if you know what to do, they’re not as damaging as others. I’ve had tapes/wefts that literally ate my bleached blonde/bad health hair to nothing! These don’t do that! To the removing them! You use heat to apply them right? Use heat to remove them! Your literally smashing/melting the glue onto the few strands of hair you sandwich in between, right? What do u expect when your wanting to remove them? Of course it’s going to be a mess when u expect them to peel off like regular scotch tape does from plastic! I mean, if you want that, why waste your money? All I do after 8-12 weeks, depending on regrowth, is tap with heat then peel them apart. I immediately use a fine tooth comb and comb the glue out. Repeating heat on my natural hair until the glue is out. I use a mixture I make of olive oil and rubbing alcohol to remove residue. It’s a learning process! But leaving bad reviews because you aren’t doing it right is not cool. Your taking food off someone’s table because you aren’t informed or knowledgeable.

I love these tape strips! I don’t feel like they damage my hair, while still maintaining the grip I look for with my hair extension adhesive. They also last quite a while, I’ve been able to reuse some of them and they still worked great. I’ve tried a few different brands, but goo goo is one of the best hands down for extension tape. Definitely worth the price, I would pay more if I had to lol.
