Good bike, solid build, simple assembly. Lighter than I expected. Better brake than I expected. Front wheel slightly warped but doesn’t affect ride. I’d deduct 1/2 star for that. Everything else is satisfactory. Recommended. Update: bought a second one in white w/purple. Front wheel is 99% true. I’ve debased both bikes. The labels peel off easily. You can lift these bikes with one arm. 5 stars.

Heavy duty strong bike, I bought two and both were packaged very well and had easy instructions. Put together they are not flimsy or cheap in any way. They are very good quality bikes!

This bike isn't terribly expensive so we didn't expect it to be top of the line with the highest quality but even still, for a nearly $200 bike, the brakes are terrible. They barely slow the bike down and the pads wear away very quickly. And the rims seem to become wobbly quick as well. We've bought two of these bikes for my 12-year-old son. Like I said, it's not like it's $1,000 bike, we get it. But for 200 bucks, you would think at least the brakes would be decent or they could have at least added front brakes too. Which is what we did. We added a front brake and it stops a lot better. But my son really likes the bike all around. It's a good looking bike and good enough for him to be a kid with. Definitely good for the price but just be careful if your kid is big like mine. We bought the 24-in tire version by the way

Was a little hard to assemble but I don’t build bikes so it’s probably easier for some people. My daughter is 11 and 5’1 and this bike fits her perfect. It’s beautiful and the purple is so pretty. It rides pretty good but we did order different breaks because they weren’t that great and she is practicing wheelies so it’s important for her to have good breaks. I think it’s a really good price and comparable to walmart. I would say safety wise the breaks could be a little bit better. The picture with my review is me on it and I’m 6’2

I am so sick of buying stuff on Amazon that falls apart. DO NOT BUY this bike! I was lured in by the reviews. Lured in by the fun colors. Lured in by the price. Don’t be like me!! From the beginning all we had was problems. My husband would work on it several times a month to get it to work and it always had problems with the chain falling off and the brakes. I wrote to Joystar customer service about it and no answer. We’ve had it for 6 months. We took it to a bike shop hoping they could fix it and they refused saying it was better just to buy a new one because of how unsafe it was. In the end, the bike shop donated a bike to us and they now have our business for life. Screw Joystar and their faulty POS bikes and customer service. TERRIBLE!!

Great company to work with. I had a minor issue with a pedal and they solved the problem for me right away and sent out a replacement. Their customer support team was very responsive. The bike was easy to assemble and my son loves it. It is a high quality BMX bike for kids.
