This Hernia Belt enabled me to play competitive Racquetball with ease and with no discomfort. I couldn't believe it, but again and again it worked great and helped me so much during sprinting, running, and jumping by reducing my discomfort and improving my mobility. As a Hernia surgeon, who performs hernia surgery, and is about to have surgery himself, I would definitively recommend this to my own patients.

This is a good belt for working out with a hernia. Keeps everything firm and takes away the anxiety of making it worse. Not a cure but a good precautionary step while awaiting the fix for your hernia. I trick, the pad comes in a ready-to-use position, but reversing it’s position makes it a little more comfortable and easier to work out.

I keep buying these because they work for me. But, as an earlier reviewer pointed out, i have to keep buying them because the Velcro wears out after 11/2 to 2 months. Too bad they can't improve the strength of the Velcro

Guys/Girls if your waist is between 30-34" you definitely want "small" not "medium" for a snug secure fit! I had to send a medium back(I feel it could have easily fit someone with a 36-38" waist!) I worked out with this on, doing squats and lunges was no problem and the support felt good(*very inconspicuous and tight to the body,fits well under sweats and jeans!*). I definitely went lighter and higher reps until after my surgery. My hernia is currently small and not symptomatic for the most part and I purchased this to get me through the summer and planning on having surgery in September, I didn't want to ruin my summer so I'm just using the support harness to skate me through for a couple of months. It works well and is "comfy snug" which is what I wanted for exercising. I am satisfied with this purchase and the product is currently meeting my needs!(PULL ALL STRAPS QUITE TIGHT WHILE PUTTING IT ON, ESPECIALLY FOR EXERCISING(the crotch strap will seem bothersome at first but it's necessary, try and get both attachment points right next to each other under the small yellow label above the hernia "pad", this will keep it against your inner thigh and away from your privates and butt crack!😂).AFTER ABOUT 5-10MIN OF WEARING IT YOU WILL BE WAY LESS CONSCIOUS OF HOW SNUG IT IS AND THE SUPPORT WILL FEEL GOOD AND GIVE YOU PEACE OF MIND! IF THE VELCRO WEARS OUT AFTER A MONTH OR TWO I WILL JUST BUY ANOTHER ONE(getting corrective surgery soon anyway!), I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS THING TO LAST 5 YEARS! 😂)

The product initially worked well and definitely helped me get through a two week overseas trip with a lot of walking. I would have given it a 4 or 5 star rating. But, just as many other buyers reported, the Velcro attachment on the smaller (under crotch) strap stopped "sticking" after about two weeks. The Velcro attachment is undersized given the stress load and pull on this strap. Therefore, the 3 star rating. Also a bit frustrating that the company has done nothing to correct this design flaw despite many users reporting the same problem. I will add additional Velcro myself to get it to stick for another week! Surgery is next week so (hopefully) won't need it after that!

This hernia belt worked perfect for my husband although the large stretched somewhat so I ordered him another in size medium. It's really helped him until he gets his surgery.

Belt is way too elastic to hold anything back, practically useless if your small hernia insists on pushing out after eating, drinking, lifting, etc. Needs better quality and larger patches of velcro, the small strap failed in less than a month. I salvaged it by combining it with a non stretch belt from another maker whose pad was a fail. This belt holds the pad where I need it, the other belt over the top does a better job of restraining my hernia most of the time instead of never.

I bought according to my size , small and am very happy. I have like a 30 inch waist. I used this belt before but seems I had bought a size to large. Now I'm tight and am happy with the fit; very adjustable. I loved how it was shipped in a reusable zip lock bag with a hole punch in it to prevent it from popping. I love this modern world of shipping. It is so practical
