Go wild with transfers and crayons to create eleven exquisite gardens from a cottage garden to a summer meadow. Each garden has a delicate line drawing to colour in and a colourful picture to fill with beautiful rub-down transfers of flowers, butterflies, birds, frogs and fish. The transfers are in a little pocket at the front and you seem to get quite a lot. Each double page spread has a page for colouring and using the transfers on the left, and on the right is a coloured print showing you suggested colours for the flowers and animals. You could also use the transfers on this page as well. It's worth keeping an eye on the price as it does fluctuate. I was able to buy it for less than £7 but I have seen it on sale for less then £6. The Look Inside doesn't really give you an idea of what the book is like, but if you check out the Images they show two or three of the pages in the book. I think it's a bit of a pity that the pages for colouring are more simple than the example images, though obviously you can use the transfers to make them more elaborate. Overall - this is a beautiful, hardback colouring book, that I'm sure the giftee is going to love.

Colourful. Lovely book. Good for dexterous fingers and good imagination. Lovely gift for my 8 year old grand daughter.

interesting book, pretty, good hard back book, took a few minutes to work out which transfers relate to which page, looking forward to doing the pages.

It's a bit fiddly, but enjoyable, and can be relaxing. there are many transfers.
