Must have item
These things are GREAT! As a new DIY cabinet installer, I can't imagine properly aligning cabinet faces without them.

A MUST HAVE but not at this price
These Pony cabinet claws are absolutely perfect. There is nothing more I can say about them! They made my cabinet install a breeze to be sure, BUT I couldn't help but notice that Menards has the same Pony claws for $59.98. The only difference that I can tell is that these have a "vise" type bolt handle on them, whereas the model 8510 at Menards has a different handle more akin to a bicycle handle, and these are painted orange instead of bare aluminum. Other than that, there is no difference. To be quite honest, there is no need to wrench down on these like a vise. They work just fine hand tightened. These appear to be some sort of updated version? I don't know. I ordered mine from Amazon prior to noticing them at Menards, and immediately felt like a sucker. Do yourself a favor, unless Amazon reduces the price of these, save yourself a few bucks and just go to Menards. Save time and shipping, and walk out of the store $16.84 richer with a great product in hand. Other than that, these Pony claws are the way to go!

Pretty decent
Bought a pair of the cabinet claws for my kitchen remodel I am working on. Worked well for standard face frame alignment for the most part. I did find however a few instances in my layout where they were less effective. On a few cabinets the face frames were wider and as a result when the clamp is opened up it doesn't maintain parallel as well when you apply pressure. Same thing when trying to use to clamp a 3" filler to a cabinet to attach. My only other suggested improvement would be if they had a stepped bit supplied or a way to have the screw run free in the first cabinet which would maximize drawing power. For the most part on standard cabinets though these things made installation a breeze, and working mostly by myself it was nice to free up my hands to just drill and screw and not worry about anything shifting.

Updated version of the originals.
I've had a set of 4 of the originals for more than 20 years. Had a big cabinet job and decided to buy another set of 4. They work as well as the originals, but have some differences. The new clamps have "t" handles , where the originals have a straight handle. The "T" handles are a little easier to use in some situations and are a little more compact .But I believe the screw tolerances are looser on the new models, hasn't been an issue up to this point. At this point I am very satisfied with the new clamps and will use them extensively. These are pretty much a must have if you are installing cabinets.

Worth every penny
These are worth every penny. Makes clamping cabinet faces together so easy. I was able to clamp a 3” spacer to a cabinet face as well. Best Pony’s I’ve ever bought.

BUY THIS TOOL... even if you don't need it
The PONY CLAMP for kitchen cabinets is one of those tools that I would buy EVEN IF I HAD NO NEED FOR THEM. They are just so well built, and cool. Based on a design that a Norwegian (I believe) designed many years ago, makes the PERFECT ALIGNMENT of kitchen cabinets a snap. Draws the cabinets together, aligns them, and provides a 'tap hole' for the screws. Purchasing TWO clamps, and using TWO in tandem makes the cabinet process go very fast. That's a plus when, as an installer, a pro or DIYer, you are working alone. This is one of those tools that will get stolen from your toolbox!!!!

Makes joining cabinets easy
Great tool for joining cabinets, allows you to pull the sides together, align the face, drill a pilot hole, and drive in a screw without having to adjust anything. Got them on sale price but worth it not matter what the price if you have cabinets to install.

Great for installing face frame kitchen cabinets
Work very well and simplified cabinet installation. Take your time and ensure everything is lined up properly before drilling pilot holes for screws to avoid any oops moments.
