Artis Indoor/Outdoor Stainless Steel Folding Wall Hanger Portable Clothes Storage Organiser

Bought this for a little bit of hanging storage in a spare bedroom. Easy to fit and it's a lot stronger than it looks, it's easily taken 4 shirts a couple of pairs of trousers without any sign of strain. When folded it's nice and neat / discrete, and even when open doesn't take up too much room. I'm not sure you'd want to use this as long term hanging, but for occasional use I can't recommend it highly enough.

Perfect for overnight or short stays. Also for drying garments on hangers. Easy to install. Close up neatly.

It's a bit chunkier than i would like, but looks fine when its closed. A bit tricky to get it tight enough on the wall so it doesn't wobble around. Fortunately i ended up mounting it to a stud as there just happened to be on in the right place. As far as what its designed to do, it works perfectly. Im not sure just how much weight it would hold if mounted using the suppled raw plugs, but mounted to a stud it can easily hold a couple of hoodies and a coat. Probably the best solution I've found so far as it just folds away when not in use.

Really like this, it saves a bunch of space and doesn't have to be on show all the time, it's pretty discrete overall and doesn't look tacky in the room. My only real criticism is how difficult it is to install - there's no way to stick a pencil inside the mechanism in order to go directly through the holes to fit it on the wall (you can on the bottom one but not on the top). This makes it really tricky to get the screws to line up fully (had to use measuring tape) so take great care!

Used in my guest room which had little room for storage, these are the perfect solution. Enough space to hang up a few things for overnight guests! Folds away neatly for slimline look.

Any installer needs to be educated to 1st degree level in the sciences, have an experienced practical bent and if possible a workshop to boot. This seemingly simple product has a fundamental design flaw which can be overcome given 1.5 hours of your time! The flaw is that the plastic hinge at the top has two rotation when only one should exist and this in turn leads, unless corrected, to the horizontal hanger rail always sloping out from the wall (as reported by several buyers). To overcome the problem it is necessary to tap out the hinge pin, cut from timber, a wedge just wide enough to fit inside the hollow vertical section (across the face) and of about 2.5mm thickness. This has by trial and error to be inserted between the hinge and the front of the box section so make a very, very tight fit effectively jamming the lower part of the plastic hinge from moving inside the box section. That done the hinge is re assembled and the pin tapped back into place. Hey presto and your away. Easy peazy. Oh yes you need a dead flat wall and indeterminable patience to screw the device to the wall without it rocking. In practice almost possible. Once installed the rail will hols 6 as most bulky coats, prefrebly 4 and probably 9-12 shirts or similar.

Bought for the utility room so I can hang things to dry or shirts after I’ve ironed them. It’s ideal. We never fold it away but it’s more convenient than any fixed alternatives anyway. It carries a surprising amount of weight. So happy with it I returned to buy one for my son’s room. He doesn’t need a full wardrobe but this is perfect for a few shirts without taking up any floor space. Bear in mind, if your wall isn’t completely flat things will slide down the hangar (as they do on my one that’s on an old external wall but not on the one mounted to new plasterboard.) I might yet get another for coats in the hallway…
