They did work! I needed it to be white light most of the time. Unfortunately white was a mix of red and blue and not just pure warm white.

I have one of those old fiber optic christmas trees that has a lightbulb and a spinning color wheel to light up the tree and change colors. The motor froze up and the bulb died and instead of going that route I bought this thing and stuck it inside there and it works better than ever. The tree lights up and changes colors and you can change the pattern etc. No more moving parts to wear out.

When I first got these, the color was all muffled and white was a red circle with blue in the middle of it. I originally thought that they were just cheap bulbs that were only good for very few installations. But, when I unscrew the bulb I found it there was a plastic filter that was keeping the light from being its brightest and actual colors. I can’t figure out what they are using this for, whether it be shipping and bulb stability during it or for some sort of filter for the light, whatever it is it’s terrible and will make you want to return the lights right away. I didn’t see any instructions, so I’m not sure if this is widely known. But the second you remove that filter, white is white again and the colors are nice. These are very bright bulbs even at their brightest, so I wouldn’t get them for any application where you need a lot of light, unless you are going to use the white which seems OK. Overall, these are nice for accent lighting. I have them blue against brick wall’s and it really looks nice. But it’s not really enough light to light any room, again unless you use white... and even then, it’s limited. What I buy them again? I’m not sure. I do like that the accent to the brick wall. The issue being that it’s not much light even at its brightest, so I’m not sure if I would look for something that would be even brighter for the times I would want them that way. I have five pointed at the brick wall and it’s just enough light to look cool on its brightest setting. So we’ll see. I have another fire bobs that I’m going to point at a different brick wall and see how it goes. But as it is, I do like how they look. These would be great for the kids room, adding a really nice ambience that keeps their room from being black if they are afraid of that kind of thing.

If I could give a negative rating... I purchased these as replacements for halogen versions I have in service. Shame on me for not checking the bulbs when I received them. They are propertied to have the same lumen output as the halogen originals. They do not. All five are very dim compared to the halogen versions. When I found the defect, it was beyond the return date. I engaged the company to secure replacements but they did not respond. I engaged Amazon customer support and followed their directions. Still no reply. IMO, very poor (non existent) customer service from this vendor. I have bought a lot of LED replacements for various bulbs around the house. This is the first time I received a bad batch that do not work. Lesson learned, check all LED replacements when you receive them and send them back if they do not work ASAP.

Great innovative product. Good quality color and bright lights. It's hard to believe that programmable lights can be purchased for such a low price.

I bought these to use outside in landscaping. I put three of them into watertight fixtures to use underwater in a koi pond. None lasted more than two weeks. They are a little taller than normal MR16 bulbs and getting a really good watertight seal was difficult. None of the fictures were full of water, but they all had some in them. The light bulb itself was not well sealed and had water in them as well. The other ones I put in larger fixtures to use as spotlights on landscape items. They are still working and seem to be ok. There is an annoying spot in the middle of the light that doesn't seem to change color with the rest of the bulb. That sounds weird, but it is almost as if there is a spot within a spot. They are ok for the price, but I am not overwhelmingly happy with them.

Just what my backyard needs.

These 5 lights transformed my kitchen island into a festive spot. There are several different modes to choose from, and each bulb changes color! A few colors (red, yellow) are not as bright as others, but overall it's a good buy for the money. Hopefully they will last long.

Bought these to replace incandescent MR16 low voltage bulbs that I had in my landscape lighting. They work great and last a long time. I even had some that froze in ice during the winter and they still worked. The output is good, but could be just a little brighter.

I didn’t like the fact that you have to close to the light for the remote to work. Also the white colour is not a true white.

Remote never worked and the light coming from the bulbs is not bright. Disappointed.
