A Worthy Option
In work I put my shoulders to the task; now only pain remains. This product will keep me in wraps until I am diagnosed. I’ve probably torn something. The product is as described and was chosen based on reviews. It is reported useable as cold or hot and so the bases are covered. The material is pliable enough even when frozen; I haven’t checked AI yet on efficacy of a turn to hot instead.I’m not buff like the guy shown, but large still seemed right sizing given 2 choices.I have it on as I write and it calms the soreness - either thru numbness or of my sense that it will help. The initial doc visit was indeterminate, and the PT that was advised did little to relieve the ache which does travel down the arm.The pain brought me to seek some relief ; I’m glad for this option. The cost is more than fair. One more thing: it’s an interchangeable item ; either shoulder covered by one product of fair cost is great value.

Form fitting
I have bursitis in my shoulder with bicep tendinitis and using a little ice pack was not doing the trick. I received this the other day and it was a game changer. Once you figure out how to put it on, it's a little tricky by yourself it's nice and snug and forms to my shoulder and my arm. I would recommend it

Perfect for shoulder pain!
Honestly I really liked this product it was able to get cold within the first hour of freezing. The only downside is that it lasts for around 30 mins then needs to be but back into the freezer. But I froze it longer for couple hours and lasted a while. The fit was comfortable and I really enjoyed this. I had shoulder pain from golf and really helped. Only thing was I had to Velcro it on before putting it on. I got the large size so it would cover more of my arm area and I really enjoyed this product. 4 stars because it is almost perfect.

this was my first one I bought or m busted up shoulder shipping was fast. the product is awsome only issue is arm strap i hard to use because I'm not left hand soon will be.kinda sharp Pokey at shoulder neck area. adjust it little bit and it find your shoulder ( and it all great you can get up move around better then ice packs). Just to let everyone Know i bought another one more from same retailer/manufacturer but it's better one that's has cloth (deluxe model for 5 bucks more i like the deluxe version better but all of them get 5 stars because how they fit work shoulder pain is a bitch

Very good. Not perfect but short coming not a deal breaker.
Very good ice pack wrap for the shoulder. It stays very cold for over 30 min from frozen. If you let it sit out for around 5 min before use, the ice gel is far more flexible. For most uses a 20 min duration is what’s required. It stands to reason that use times would change if you use the ice in warm/hot ambient room temperatures. The value is good. For a larger person it covers the shoulder from the neck to the upper arm nicely. It stays in place if you use the large strap correctly across the chest and under the opposite arm. Not around the neck. The pack is well filled and on the heavier side. Here are my cons after multiple uses. The arm strap can be difficult to use on your own. That part could have been designed a lot better. You may need help fastening it. The ice can be so cold that it caused a redness on my shoulder over my t-shirt. So I use a thin towel in between the ice and my shirt. It would have been nice to have some cloth padding built in like the small pack I received from the hospital.

If you live by yourself, this thing can be a challenge to attach to your shoulder
As an icepack, this product works quite well. It maintains a cool temperature long enough for full session of PT on your sore shoulders. My only issue is that it's not easy to wrap around your arm. There were no instructions in my box, so I dont know if this is normal or not. But I had to figure out how to wrap it around my arm. This is not easy to do. 'What I recommend doing is that you figure out how to wrap the and secure the arm strap while the ice pack is thawed out and plyable. Because once it is chilled, the product is fairly rigid and difficult to bend and curl. So, figure out how to attach it to your arm, and the remove it like you would a shirt. Leave the velcro straps attached and in place and then stick it in your freezer. Then when you are ready to use it, all you have to do is slide it into place on your arm and then stretch the other strap up and over your head. This is much much easier to do than trying to figure out how to secure it onto your arm if it's already chlled and rigid.

Works great after surgery
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Just had rotator cuff surgery and they didn’t give me any ice packs. Quickly ordered this and it works great. I didn’t use all the straps I just laid it and formed it to my shoulder. A little stiff when first brought out of freezer but in a few minutes easily forms to your shoulder.

Good for cold therapy, less effective for heat
This works great for cold therapy! The ice pack is very large and covers the area well. But the instructions for using it for heat therapy state that you should only heat it for less then a minute and a half total. Even if starting from room temperature, that only gets this a bit warm in some spots. There is a warning that over heating can rupture the gel pack, so I didn't dare heat it as long as it seemed it was going to need. So, I wish it could used better for heat, but ice is probably a more common need anyway. It fits well and stays in place. It can be a little tricky securing the arm band by yourself, but once you get it set you can slide your arm in and out and not have to undo it. And if you have someone to help you, it would be no problem. I think this has more good qualities than poor, so I would still feel like I could recommend this to a friend.
