Delo 39088-CASE 400 SAE 40 Motor Oil - 1 Gallon (Pack of 3)

I like the fact that this oil has no VII’s. Also love that it has a very low NOACK and you don’t have to worry about this oil breaking down or evaporating that easily because of it’s HTHS capability. I use this oil in my Honda GX340 powered Winco generator. These air cooled engines need a robust oil that will maintain a strong oil film and resist breaking down. In hot climates your gen can run for days in a power outage and many multi-viscosoty PCMO’s don’t have the HTHS to handle the stress of these OPE’s. Hence why so many gens die early deaths. Always change your oil in OPE’s at the 50 hour mark if it doesn’t have an oil filter. And change at the 100 hour mark if it does. If you have a gen with a radiator, oil filter and low RPM’s (1800) then you can change at the 500 hour mark. Use this oil when your genny ask for 10W-30 if you’re in hot temperatures like I see in Florida or Texas for example. Use SAE 30 Delo in small inverters like the Honda EU2000 and Yamaha 2000 blue inverters. If you’re in cold weather like the North than a good 10W-30 HDEO until 0 degress F, or even a 5W-40 HDEO should do the trick. I also run this in my lawnmower. Hope this helped.

Use it up Good

Excellent oil for an inboard boat engine when delivered however box was empty. How does that happen? Apparently no attention to weight of a product when their machines box and ship. Lol.

I've been using this oil for years on my diesels and now use it in my mercruiser 5.7 I/O. It has the anti corrosive elements needed for heavy equipment and marine applications. A master mercruiser tech recommended it and after doing the research it does have what it takes to use in a I/O engine.

Good oil at a good price. SAE 40 is the oil to use for small engines in the south.
