The neck is thin and the fretboard is flat - it is convenient and comfortable for smooth playing. However, it would have helped to send a user manual to know the different parts and uses like changing the strings, etc., etc.

Does it plays without amp

Yes u can play it without using an amplifier but the enhance sound effects requires amplifier but yes you can play it without using an amplifier!
