Worked great

Be careful tightening bolt..
I was optimistic about saving some money by fixing our washer myself, but as I tightened the bolt the top of the bolt broke off, leaving the threaded end inside the shaft. I was using a small wrench and didn't think I was applying that much torque. Now it seems I've waited too long to return the plastic piece..

Not a fit for 175d2846p001. Look for WH43X10032
This product is, in my experience, NOT a fit for a coupler labeled 175d2846p001. WH43X10032 is the correct fit for this part.I bought this part because it was the cheapest 1-day ship replacement (and I wanted to get my washing machine back online). When I searched for the part number on the piece I removed (175d2846p001) it looks like all the replacements are the same. They are NOT. I could not get this part to fit on the spindle, even with a few taps from a heavy hammer. It was clear that if I forced it on, I was not going to get it off, and I didn't want to risk other possible mismatches, damaging the spindle, or worse of all, getting it on enough that I couldn't get it off, but not enough to get the bolt in.I decided to do more searching and try at least one other part before giving up and forcing it on (which, from reviews, it looks like some people have done). I discovered in a Google search that WH43X10032 is considered a different fit, and tried ordering that part from Amazon. The one I got came in a GE branded bag (nice) and fit _perfectly_, sliding onto the spindle without requiring any force. Looking directly down the hole one could tell that the end had a 2 - 3 mm more room than this part (similar to the one I removed). Was a 5 min swap, but because of the incorrect claims on this product page my washer was down for another day.AND this part showed up without the promised bolt (possibly due to poor product packaging), AND the finish on the top nut seat wasn't entirely flat, which would've prevented a good seat anyways (defect -- it's possible the lack of fit was defect related too, who knows). 0 for 3 on this one.
