Has anyone traveled with this and it passed as a personal item?

Yes! I just flew with JetBlue and United and had absolutely no issues. One passenger even asked me if my bag was too big lol but it absolutely fit under both seats and I had it super packed!

Is the bag made with real leather or faux leather?

Definitely a good quality faux.

How do I keep it clean?

The inside wipes clean easily with a damp sponge. I’d use a sponge and a mild soap (if needed) outside too.
