There are four areas to explore: the Fire Station Department ain Rescue Station and Water Rescue Station. Each ofthese has three missions and also features activities. The missions involverescuing stranded animals and people moving hazards clearing roads andconstructing protective buildings. Kids will know they have a mission to attendto when a siren goes off on one of the stations in a random fashion and willneed to click on that building to participate.As this game is designed for preschoolers primarily the missions are veryeasy and mainly involve moving a vehicle to rescue move or build something. Themouse is used for movement and there is a wide range of motion allowed. Missionsare structured around using several steps to solve something as in the firstmission for the Department where players are asked first to help directtraffic around ducks trying to cross the road with cars going one direction andtrucks another. Then it's off to help round up the ducks which are lost. Theyneed a pond to live in so a hole must be dug then lastly decorations can beadded to the park. Most of the missions are fairly similar in format.The activities at each station can be accessed at any time and involve mostlyeither washing and decorating the vehicles or test driving them around easyobstacle course with timed laps. Each location offers essentially the same three activities. First, children wash each vehicle (there are approximately three per area). Next, they place the vehicle's equipment using shaded areas as guides. After the parts are assembled, they can then take the rescue vehicle for a test drive (tools for decoration are also sometimes available). The limited control of the boats, trucks and helicopter make the driving action far from thrilling, and challenges are missing.
