Love love love this coffee! We go to the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 every year for vacation- we literally own a suite down there- A vaca Club. Anyway- this is their main brand of coffee- all the resorts use it and it’s named after the capital of the DR- Santo Domingo, which I’ve been too and explored. So please support this company as they’re from the DR and these beans come home the homestead’s there… it’s pretty neat to see how the coffee and cocoa grows there- coffee and cocoa is very abundant there- this is one of their main sources of income for the country- so buy Santo Domingo coffee to support the DR and trust me you won’t be disappointed… I don’t drink alcohol at all- Instead I’m a coffee connoisseur and I sure love these beans - we get the whole beans and grind Fresh- just had a cup of some.. ☕️ delicious!! 🤤 yes we bring bags home from the DR but when we run out- we buy it right here!!! Highly recommend!!!

Aside from the recent supply chain issues and that it took over 1 month to recieve my order, this coffee is worth the wait. It's smooth, non-acidic and has flavorful notes of vanilla and caramel. After first tasting it in the Dominican, we nearly drink it exclusively.

I was a little worried about ordering four bags of this coffee which I've never tried before but I trusted the well-written reviews from other customers, and I'm happy I did. This is one of the best coffees I've ever tasted. It is a unique flavor--a nice combination of subtle boldness and a very slight sweetness that work well together.

I read a few recent reviews complaining of burnt smokey taste and acidity. I can only comment on my experience. I received a 16 oz bag of Café Santo Domingo whole bean coffee on October 22, 2024. I noticed a pleasant aroma when opening the bag. This coffee has a nice flavor, not at all burnt or overly acidic. If anything, I found that I needed to add a little extra coffee than recommended per cup to satisfy my taste. The instructions on the bag recommends using one tablespoon of ground coffee per cup but I found using a rounded tablespoon more satisfying. I gave this coffee 4 stars rather than 5 but only because I do have other types of coffee such as Ethiopian that are my favorites. Café Santo Domingo whole bean coffee is a good coffee to have and it also has a very reasonable price. I paid $12.99 for 16 ounces but I pay more for only 12 ounces of my favorite Ethiopian coffees.

This is really good coffee. We used to buy just it but then it was hard to find for a while and we bought the black sack version instead which is equally as good.

After having this coffee in the Dominican where they actually roast the beans two years ago, it has become the only coffee that we drink now back in Canada. Lol and I mean the only coffee that we drink every single day.

I like the fullness of the coffee, rich taste. In bean form it remains fresher until ground and used. You can also find out what coarseness of the grind that suits you best.
