It's a fantastic shelf system but as you see it is NOT LEVEL. I was a bit smug about reviews thinking that people had not assembled it correctly. I loosened all the screws and tried to make it level. My husband pointed out that the cross support was hitting the top shelf and had to be trimmed. Even though all the part's look like they are cut exactly alike, the holes can be off by a1/4 of an inch or more. Hate to disassemble it but it needs to be level in order to keep my plants safe. Love the wood, heavy duty metal parts and design make it a great purchase. This proves that quality control by humans is still important. Automated cuts can still be imperfect at times. Love that I assembled it and was humbled by the outcome. Being said, we did need to make adjustments. Don't tighten screws until you're done, slight pressure can adjust shelf making it level. Trimming may be necessary or aggressive sanding. Love the shelf but anything that needs assembling may not always come out perfect. Follow instructions too, the correct assembly will keep the shelf from breaking if you overload it. Don't overload it with big heavy pots on top, it's designed for medium to light weight plants. Such a cute little shelf. It fits perfectly on our steps and is a nice way to hold our birdhouse and plants. It came with gloves, which I don’t think is necessary *see below note*. It is fairly easy to assemble. If you know your abc’s and can screw a nut to a bolt you should be fine. However, I will note that after almost completing assembly I searched for the last bolt for about 15 minutes before deciding that it must have been missing. PROTIP (from someone who is not a pro) the last bolt is the silver one that attaches the windmill and last leg. For whatever reason I figured there was a separate hole for the windmill. There is not. So save yourself the rummaging through old IKEA packages looking for a bolt that will fit cause that big silver bugger is the one that holds the windmill AND the last leg and shelf. You’re welcome. All in all, great purchase and I can’t wait to add more plants. I’ll update later to see how it holds up to NY storms. Pros: -easy to assemble -lightweight -real wood (I think, don’t quote me on that) -inexpensive Cons: -I had to assemble it myself and I’m a princess and would prefer everything I buy just appear at my side with no effort on my part -there was one devil nut that insisted on being screwed in crooked *use the gloves for this one* *disclaimer: I assembled this after 2 glasses of Chardonnay - struggles with bolts may vary*

It’s sturdy. Easy to put together. Looks great. Only problem is the second shelves are not level as you can see from my photo. Otherwise it’s a 5 star. I ordered a second one because I like it and will see if it’s the same.

It fit perfectly on my window! I wish they had more that were taller! It’s sturdy, not wobbly at all. It holds 4 big plants and 1 small (cactus perhaps). I put my heaviest plant on the bottom and somewhat heavy on the top. I wasn’t missing any parts, think I had an additional screw or something. Definitely worth the price! Looks amazing on the window, have received compliments on it. Highly recommend! I was worried it would stain the window, but it hasn’t!

What an awesome buying experience. The item arrived quickly and was well packaged. This company really cares about their customers! Not only do you get all the parts with instructions but they also and gloves so you don't soil your hands. Oh, and the cutest little set of gardening tools! It's a really nice touch. They also send an email explaining common assembly mistakes and how to avoid them. The instruction were pretty clear. There is reference to a 'long side' of a hole which initially confused me. I figured out the hole is slightly larger on one side (we'll call it the entry side) than the other, or exit side. I couldn't tell just by looking at it, but if you just try sliding a bolt in from one side of the hole and then the other; you'll note the difference. Hand tightens enough so things don't move around while you work on each shelf. Once everything is together, put your leveler on top, center your lever and tighten it up the rest of the way.

Looks great however took quite awhile to set up (a ton of screws/washers). And I was short on 2 screws so I had to put that side up against the wall 🫤

I love my window plant shelf. It was easy to assemble thanks to the great instructions and the way the pieces were marked for identification, as well as having all the necessary tools supplied. It is sturdy and looks great!
