The bag of seed does not have that awful dust that some brands have and my African Grey loves it!

Arrived July 2020 and was perfectly vacuum packed. Froze it for a few days before using. Store it tightly closed in the bag and keep about a week's worth in a plastic tub for nightly serving. It looks very fresh and very clean. My 23 year old African Gray is picky and is attracted to salt and sugar. He is also not a fan of anything that he hasn't seen before or looks unusual. His breakfast bowl is only fresh fruit and vegetables that he likes with the occasional new thing just in case he might try it. When he goes back to his cage at dusk he gets a snack bowl of pellets and little items he likes plus a couple of good tablespoons of the seed mix (I do remove most of the sunflower seeds from each serving and only leave a few -- I meant to buy the mix without the sunflower seeds and will do so next time. He is definitely a sunflower seed addict). He eats more of this mix than any other I have tried. I have even found some of the dried fruit at the bottom of the cage with a bite out of it which is not at all like him. Definitely will buy this again -- without the sunflower seeds. No need to experiment or search further.

My birds love it! The issue I have is "Moths", ever since I've bought this food.

Maybe African Grays will eat this; however, I have a 30-year old Senegal who will not touch this food! It contains mostly huge nasty-looking sunflower seeds that he has tried to soak in his water bowl, but has given up and will not touch any of the food--probably because it is OLD (even though the expiration date is 12-24). That black thing in the photo that looks like a turd, I believe is supposed to be an apricot! As other reviews mentioned--the bag was NOT vacuum-sealed and was actually puffed up with air upon arrival. I was leery about purchasing because the brand says "Artist Unknown" and should have trusted my gut. I will no longer purchase anything from a brand that I have not heard of! I've picked out the sunflower seeds to show how many were in that small portion of seed in the strainer, to maybe get him to eat the other seeds, but after taking a good look at what is in there, I have decided to toss it all in the trash instead!
