Are these good for working out?

Absolutely. They have a clip so the strap doesn't hit your neck constantly and the ear pieces are super secure. I use mine daily to work out

Will they work with an S22?

Yes, I used them on my old s10, and currently l own the s22. These things work very well. I bought 2 pair. They sound amazing from the clarity to the bass.

If only using one ear piece what prevents the cord from sliding down?

I loop the hanging ear bud on the other wire. This keeps it from sliding around. It only slides around if I'm doing a lot of head movements. I wear these in the gym, sometimes 1 ear, and on My harley. Love the sound, love them so much I have 2 pair. Good bye skull candy brand. But the ear but sits very well in the ear, and 1 out will not make the 1 in fall out. Trust me u will love these
