What come in the box.  This price is very low just trying to see is the price just for the scanner and the manual?

The BCD436HP comes with the handheld unit, a USB cable for data transfer and charging, an SMA to BNC adapter, rubber duck antenna, wrist strap, belt clip, printed manual, and 3 rechargeable AA batteries. It does not come with AC or DC adapters for the USB cable.

Does it have a plug-in for Bose headphones?

It will not allow most "Noise canceling" headphones as they are 600ohm, and the earphone jack is 32ohm!

Question 4

What about the GPS function?  Is it installed in the radio or is that an additional charge?  Also, can you attach a remote antenna to this receiver?

Please answer this question. Is GPS built in or not. A separate GPS device that cost $100 is a gps receiver that requires USB and power connection and thus is not designed or will not work connected to a RF connection. GPS should work without an external antenna just like your garmin does not require an external gps antenna to function.
