Ruck R40 Case (OD Green)

The ultimate protection for EDC. The build quality is legendary, as expected from Pelican. It’s rugged, completely waterproof, and the internal organization keeps my gear perfectly secure. Whether I'm on the job or traveling, I have total peace of mind knowing my essentials are safe. Worth every penny.

I am very pleased with this case. It is extremely sturdy and waterproof. Held it under one foot of water for an hour and it stayed completely dry inside. It claims to be crush resistant and I completely believe it coming from Pelican. Easy to organize inside with the little “hammock” and velcro straps. I like that it can be opened while still strapped down. Arrived in the stated delivery window. I’m really glad that I ordered this case.

RUCK 40 Review. Great buy! I bought it to keep my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note9) dry and clean while on the RZR and boat while out at sea or on the beach. It worked perfectly. It straps in easy and stays secure. I also work as an firearms instructor and constantly am shooting indoors and outdoors and it is a great little box to just throw whatever you dont want damaged in. Overall I have no regrets buying this box. It works fantastic and i constantly find more ways to use it. PROS: Small and easy to tuck and to attach to whatever Waterproof and floats Keeps dirt, sand and mud out Rugged and durable Fits large phone, with portable charger! ( We had a Note9, a Galaxy S10+ both with pelican cases l, and a portable power bank and it fit perfectly. Plenty of room for the size of it. Light weight CONS: It may be pricey but it's worth it in my opinion.

Great quality and perfect size for what I needed. I have all sizes the R20, R40 and R60. Fits my nvme enclosure and USB cables needed. Tools and flashlight with markers and pens.

Great travel humidor but pretty heavy and could use improvement to the strap system. The R40 is very tough, like most Pelican cases, and serves well as a travel humidor... although maybe not for backpacking due to weight. My main complaint is that the slots for straps only go one direction, which limits how it can be configured. However, I modified it so that I can strap my lighter at 90 degrees to my cigars, which will allow me to be able to 2-3 more cigars.

Solid product very well built. I bought mine for a trip to Honduras scuba diving. Anything and everything brought on the boat gets wet and tossed around. This case kept my phone, keys, wallet and few other important things bone dry and protected. You get what you pay for!

I purchased the R40 as a heavy-duty case to carry my cigars, cutter, and lighter. This is a far superior option to other travel humidors that I have purchased in the past. It holds my cigar accessories, a Boveda pack, and 5 large ring gauge (60 ring gauge) cigars comfortably. The weight is hefty because this case is built like a tank. It's airtight, waterproof, and crushproof. You won't find anything with better protection. This case is a 100% buy.

Solid build and excellent quality like any pelican case product. Not the cheapest thing you can buy but you definitely get what you pay for. I took it to one event and many people commented on how much they liked it, how rugged it was put together, etc. I'm not saying that if you get this you'll be any less of a loser, but I feel like I'm less of a loser for getting it. But maybe that's exactly what an un-selfaware loser would say... Anyway it fits plenty of cigars to smoke by yourself or to give away to people that you're trying to get to be your friend even though they might only be hanging out with you for the free cigar out of this high quality protective case. Whatever works though, amiright?
