Excellent for defining curls
I really liked this hair cream. It leaves my curls more defined, hydrated and with a beautiful and healthy appearance. It also helps a lot to control frizz without leaving the hair too heavy. The aroma is pleasant and the texture is easy to apply. Ideal for thick and curly hair. I would buy it again!

Great for defining curls and reducing frizz
I really like this curl cream. It has a rich texture, but it doesn’t feel too heavy when I use the right amount. It makes my hair feel softer and helps my curls look more defined and organized. One of the things I noticed most is that it helps control frizz while adding a nice shine to my hair. My curls look more hydrated and have better definition without feeling stiff or crunchy. I also like the Coconut & Hibiscus scent. It smells fresh and pleasant and lasts for a good amount of time without being overwhelming. The 20 oz container is another plus because a little product goes a long way, so I expect it to last quite a while. Overall, I think this is a great option for thick or curly hair, especially if you’re looking for moisture, definition, and frizz control in one product.

Works very well on loose curls as a rinse-off, and on straight hair as a leave-in conditioner
I'm not very experienced with curly hair care, so I can't offer much comparison or insight, but so far I like this product a lot. I have a biracial daughter with 3b/3c hair which needs a lot of care. I was using Mixed Chicks on her, but it wasn't working out well for us. A friend recommended this thing and I got it together with another recommended product, the Ouidad Krly Kids No More Knots. I'd read in the reviews here that the Shea Moisture smoothie can be used either as a regular (wash-off) conditioner or as a leave-in, and the Ouidad says it can be used as either as well, so I tried each of them both ways. When I used Shea Moisture as a wash-off conditioner and followed with the Ouidad as a leave-in, the results were great. We'd do it before bed once a week and in the morning my daughter's hair would have gorgeous shiny self-formed ringlet curls, which stayed remarkably defined and frizz-free throughout the day. She's 18 months old and can't sleep in a bonnet yet, plus she wears a winter hat now and generally rolls around all day messing up her hair, but even despite all that, the curls stay defined all day and the frizz is minimal, which is impressive. On non-wash days I just spray her hair lightly with a solution of the Ouidad conditioner in water so I can comb through the knots before bed, and she's all set. Now, when I tried it the other way, it really didn't work. I used the Ouidad first and after rinsing I followed with the Shea Moisture, and the next morning my daughter's hair was hard, sticky and dull, and it looked glued to her head! I really didn't use that much. She got a lot of frizz throughout the day, too. I did that combination a couple more times just to give it a chance, with varying amounts of Shea Moisture, but it never looked good. So I wouldn't recommend it as a leave-in... Either that, or I'm doing something wrong, which is totally possible given that I'm just figuring things out. We went back to using Shea Moisture first, rinsing it off and following with Ouidad, and her hair went back to the pretty shiny ringlets. This regimen works for us right now so I'm gonna stick with it. Also, I haven't tried this on its own or in any other manner, just in combination with the Ouidad conditioner, as described. So I don't know how it would work when used in other ways or combinations. I'm writing all this out in detail to help out other clueless moms of curly-haired kids who are also figuring things out :-) I'm sure actual curly-haired people have a lot more knowledge than this and can probably weigh in better. UPDATE: My daughter is 3 now and we're still using this smoothie, still in the same way, in combination with the Ouidad. This regimen has really worked out well for us. Her hair is much longer now and much more prone to frizz, so I need to reapply the Ouidad leave-in again mid-week, but so far things are under control. I even started using this smoothie on my own hair! My hair is very fine and as straight as it gets, but it's extremely prone to matting even though I brush it out diligently and frequently. I was only using a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner twice a week before, but now I follow with this smoothie as a leave-in, and it makes my hair extra smooth and shiny, and reduces the matting significantly. It doesn't get rid of it entirely, and by evening I still get knots at the back of my head almost every day, but they're significantly smaller and looser than when I'm not using the smoothie. This is the first time in my life I've left product in my hair without washing it off... Maybe I should've started doing this sooner!

Smells great and works!
First it smells amazing! It is very thick so when I first used it I used too much. Now I use a small amount and then add a little water to my palm to thin it out a bit then use it all over my damp hair. Bust out my diffuser and magic! My hair is full, curls are curly and not fuzzy. Hair is soft too. I recommend this product.

good quality, nice hair product for curly hair
I'm always looking for something that is going to help my hair feel conditioned and not frizzy and not greasy. I really liked this. My hair felt really good and I had minimal frizz. I was also really happy with the lack of stickiness on my neck and face that sometimes happens with hair products like this. I will buy again.

This stuff actually works
The stuff actually works. I have very thin hair that's very flat and straight. This product brought immediate curls and waves to my hair. I would have to say even better than I expected. I'm 63. And my hair looks better now than it did 30 years ago. I combined this with a L'Oreal product. Call "Boost It". It says on the bottle "volume inject mousse". Using these two products together really worked out great. If you're looking to add some curls to your flat straight hair, this is the product you want to get.

A miracle for my Caucasian curls without the grease
So I've been experimenting with products over the years to tame my frizzy curly locks & have hated my hair more years of my life than I care to admit. But after moving to South Florida and having to give up the hair straightening iron due to 100% humidity down here I started a journey to research the best products for Caucasian curly hair. Because let's just be real here our curly hair is composed up differently and needs imo less greasy products. Every curly hair product I've found either was to brittle and drying or too greasy. I stumbled upon a some YouTube videos about this curly head method or something like that and one of them recommended this product. So what I do is I just condition my hair I use regular conditioner as shampoo and a deep condition once or twice a week to really condition. With head flipped upside-down soaking wet in the shower I apply a leave in, TGIN thank God it's natural makes a good one, then I apply this & scrunch a little to get rid of excess water. With head still upside-down I take a tshirt and scrunch the excess water out after I get out. Then apply a hard cheap gel with lots of hold scrunch more and wrap my head with the tshirt(search YouTube of how to use tshirt to wrap curly hair to dry). I let that sit on my head for however long anywhere between 30 minutes and a couple of hours not usually a couple hours I would say 30 minutes to an hour and then I let it all out and let it air dry or defuse the rest of the way when it’s mostly dry with a bout 80 to 85% dry I scrunch it with the T-shirt while it’s upside down and I put my fingers through like my scalp and I just kind of shake the hair and scrunch it kind of break it up if it’s hard at all and then Wala it’s done. to me this is a miracle product I am in love with it I would never try anything else because I’m 100% happy with it for myself and my curls. it smells so good my husband loves the way it smells sweet and fruity. I would say that I use a decent amount like I would say a tablespoon or so I usually scoop out a little on my 3 fingers for my medium length hair. It will feel slippery kind of but when is all said and done the look will look like the picture I uploaded. Obviously all of our hair is so different that’s why I did I mention in my title that it was for my Caucasian hair and I mean Caucasian hair is not on the same either but this stuff works for me, I would consider my hair normal as in not too greasy or dry. The curls as average not super tight kinky curls not really loose. if I were to just air dry my hair without anything it would poof out a little bit I would have some curl to it and it would look a hot mess with extra frizz lol. Hope this helps and if you still need more help with your curls I recommend searching YouTube. Good luck!

Little Goes A Long Ways
I have thick, curly/wavy hair. This weighed my hair down and made it greasy looking, I used a decent amount so very possible I need to use less. I used it on my daughter who has very thin but curly hair, and it made her curls look very defined and bouncy. Didn’t look greasy, but I used hardly any rubbed between my hands. I would overall say its good, but a little goes a long way! So be careful not to overdo it and look greasy!

Calidad > Cantidad

I Love it!
This product lasted me 6+ months, but I do have short hair so keep that in mind. if your hair is naturally curly this product will definitely enhance your curls and it usually does so for about 8-10 hours (from one application), However if your hair is not naturally curly don't expect this product to make your hair curly.

Great product, smells nice
Helps hold the curl very well. Very thick consistency, kind of like congealed condensed milk so might not be suitable for oily or fine hair. Smells very sweet
