Product Description ------------------- The UpDownCross Mini Converter offers a stylish way to convert between SD and HD video formats as it offers all kinds of changes to HD and SD formats. It works in the highest 10-bit quality level with advanced filtering and processing technology. The UpDownCross Mini Converter can be used on the SDI input of a professional VCR to convert a non-compliant signal into a signal perfectly suited to SDI standards. In the case where a user has a Digital Bétacam PAL VCR connected to a router, a mini UpDownCross converter could be connected upstream of the VCR SDI input to manage the situation where a person connects an HD video source; in this case, the SDI signal would be automatically converted to an SD-SDI signal so that the VCR receives a stable and high-quality signal. Even a video signal in 1080i59.94 would be automatically down-converted and the standards converted to PAL. Audio embedded in the SDI is automatically delayed according to the processing applied to the video signal before being transmitted to the SDI output so that the VCR receives a stable SDI signal with multiple audio channels. Also incorporated is a transparent SDI output as well as 5 SDI outputs with processing. Users can choose to cancel all processes so that the UpDownCross mini converter turns into a simple SDI amplifier distributor with a total of 6 totally resynchronized SDI outputs. A triple level synchro compatible blackburst input is also included, allowing the UpDownCross mini converter to be used as an image resynchronizer.
